What You ll Do:

• Manage adult cardiac surgery patients in a high-acuity stepdown setting
• Support complex cases involving CABG, valve repairs, and aortic surgeries
• Conduct daily assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Manage arrhythmias, pacemakers, volume status, electrolytes, and wound care
• Remove chest tubes, surgical drains, and monitor for clinical deterioration
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons and the multidisciplinary team for patient discharge and care coordination
• Provide patient education and discharge planning instructions

What You Need:

• Active Missouri RN license
• Board Certification as NP or PA
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years experience in cardiac trauma or ICU, with Level I trauma experience preferred
• Proficiency in managing cardiac surgical patients, including complex post-op care
