Overview Wasilla AK Lumber — 1700 W Parks Hwy, Wasilla, AK 99654, United States Position: Material Handler / Warehouse Associate (entry level). This role involves supporting the flow of materials and products within the facility under direct supervision and receiving on-the-job training. Responsibilities Physically handle materials used in construction components and finished products to ensure efficient movement, including lifting, transporting, and stacking as needed. Operate motorized and non-motorized equipment for material handling, including equipment that may require specialized training. Additional notes: work is performed in a production environment with exposure to temperature variations, potential chemicals, moving parts, noise, and dust. Qualifications / Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally. Willingness to perform tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling as required. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided. Work Environment Work conducted in a production setting with possible exposure to environmental hazards and typical manufacturing conditions.
