Your Day to Day as a Surgical Technologist

What You Need to Be Successful

To thrive as a Relief (PRN) Surgical Technologist at Southwest Health System, Inc., candidates must possess strong understanding of various surgical specialties.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Regulatory Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current state Surgical Technologist Licensure within state of Colorado.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• Strong experience with minimally invasive ENT, orthopedics, vascular and podiatric specialties including video orthopedic and all other needed equipment to do the above surgeries.
• 2 years' operating room experience preferred.
• Current BLS Certification
• Language Skills:
• Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
• Additional languages preferred
• Skills:
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills
