Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights) | Blocked Weekends | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced Adult Emergency Department managing more than 100,000 visits per year
• Care for a diverse patient population within one of the busiest trauma centers in the country
• Assist with boarder patients as needed
• Rotate across day, evening, and night shifts including holidays and on-call/callback assignments
• Float and assume charge nurse responsibilities per unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active New York (NY) RN License required — NY license only
• Minimum two (2) years of Emergency Department experience
• Previous travel nursing experience in the ER required — this position is not able to support first-time travelers
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I trauma center environment
• Ability to adapt quickly in a state-of-the-art, high-acuity emergency setting
