This is a dynamic dual-role opportunity where you'll play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care while keeping clinical operations running smoothly. Responsibilities: Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures Accurately document patient encounters, histories, and physician notes in real time as a clinical scribe Prepare and room patients, recording vital signs and chief complaints Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) with precision and timeliness Coordinate pre- and post-operative patient instructions and follow-up care Manage exam room setup, sterilization, and medical supply inventory Support front and back office operations as needed to ensure seamless patient flow Requirements: Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) preferred or equivalent clinical experience Prior experience as a clinical scribe or strong medical documentation skills Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical terminology Experience in a surgical or specialty medical practice is a plus Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced clinical setting Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused demeanor About Us: One Surgical Specialists is a premier surgical practice based in Paramus, NJ, dedicated to providing patients with the highest standard of surgical care and personalized attention.
