Responsibilities include:

• Adhering to the department's and hospital's policies and procedures, including safety, risk management and regulatory standards.
• Keeping abreast of trends, developments and regulatory requirements impacting matters within designated scope of responsibility.
• Administering, overseeing and documenting the administration of medications as ordered by the healthcare practitioner and in accordance with hospital policy.
• Assessing patient to include physical, psychosocial, cultural, behavioral/emotional, developmental and spiritual needs.
• Gathering data relevant for patient care.
• Implementing appropriate patient interventions and evaluating outcomes.

Required qualifications include:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Previous E.D. experience current within the last 2 years or critical care experience, current within the last 2 years.
• Registered Nurse: WA.
• Basic Life Support - CPR.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 60 Days.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course, within 12 months.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program, within 12 months.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 12 months or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, within 12 months.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Bachelors Of Science Nursing and One year of related work experience in an acute care setting.
• Certified Emergency Nurse.
