The Registered Nurse also is responsible for the direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Administers and performs specialized nursing care according to assigned unit and treatment for patient. The RN reviews orders/test results and documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record. Qualifications Education Minimum: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Preferred BSN. Experience Minimum: 24 month Med/Surg experience and successful and/or critical care experience and completion of a critical care training program preferred. Minimum 2 year licensed nursing practice in an Emergency Dept preferred. Adult and Pediatric Emergency experience preferred. Other Qualifications: Successful completion of WBMC Medication test. Successful completion of unit specific test. Demonstrates yearly competencies specific to unit. Required Certification/Licensure/Registration: Current Florida RN License BLS, ACLS, PALS certification (American Heart Association) TNCC, CEN, ENPC - preferred Organization Description West Boca Medical Center (WBMC) is part of the Palm Beach Health Network and has been serving southern Palm Beach and northern Broward counties for over 37 years. WBMC offers general medical and surgical care, orthopedics, a robotic surgery program, a state‑of‑the‑art breast imaging center, women's and children's services and the only level III NICU in southern Palm Beach County. Its two emergency centers, one at the main hospital and the other in Coconut Creek, are open 24‑hours a day. Join our team!
