This position participates in our compensation program, which provides opportunities for future pay growth based on performance and career development.401(k) with a dollar-for-dollar company match up to 4%Hotel discounts at select Western States Lodging & Management propertiesEligible full-time associates are entitled to the following:Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans plus Health Savings Account (HSA) optionsOptional supplemental benefits, including accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and other coverage options.Personal Time Off (PTO) and Vacation benefitsWhat You'll DoAdminister medications to residents according to prescribed dosages, schedules, and established medication management protocols under the direction of a Licensed Nurse.Accurately document medication administration and resident responses.Assist in monitoring residents' health status and promptly report changes or concerns to nursing staff.Assist with medical equipment, supplies, and treatments as needed and within the scope of training and authorization.Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, bathing, grooming, and other needs while promoting independence and dignity.Provide skin care and change simple dressings for non-infected chronic or postoperative conditions.Assist with transfers and other physical care needs as appropriate.Provide companionship, emotional support, and compassionate care to residents.Maintain resident privacy, confidentiality, and rights at all times.Follow all community standards for safety, sanitation, hygiene, appearance, and health.Work closely with residents, families, visitors, nurses, and other associates to provide consistent, high-quality care.What Makes You SuccessfulCurrent CNA or Caregiver Certification in the state where you are applying, if applicableHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Completion of a Certified Medication Technician program, QMAP or equivalent medication training according to regulations in the state you are applying in.1–3 years of experience in medication administration, caregiving, senior living, healthcare, or a related fieldAdditional medication training or experience beyond entry-level requirements preferredProficiency in medication administration techniques and adherence to medication management protocolsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration and documentationAbility to effectively communicate with residents, families, nurses, and other healthcare team membersKnowledge of infection control practices, safety procedures, and resident care standardsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with the nursing teamCompassionate, patient-centered approach to working with seniorsWillingness to work with elderly residents and support their physical, emotional, and social well-beingAbility to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, lifting, and assisting with resident transfersYou Know You're Successful When…You know you're successful when medications are administered accurately and on schedule, documentation is complete and reliable, and changes in residents' health or condition are identified and communicated promptly.
