Food Service Worker

Swisher Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a PRN food service worker who can contribute to our culture of providing superior healthcare services to the communities we serve. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years old Food-handling certification as required by state regulations Ability to understand and follow instructions in English Ability to communicate effectively Ability to perform simple arithmetic and understand measurements and conversions Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, peers, residents, patients, and guests Working knowledge of computers and software used in the position Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Responsibilities Under the direct supervision of the Nutritional Services Supervisor, the food service worker will: Prepare and serve food and beverages to hospital patients and residents Prepare salad items, hot and cold foods, and desserts Clean work areas, equipment, and utensilsResponsibilities Under the direct supervision of the Nutritional Services Supervisor, the food service worker will: Prepare and serve food and beverages to hospital patients and residents Prepare salad items, hot and cold foods, and desserts Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils Assist with setup, service, and garbage or trash collection Assemble and serve food to hospital staff and customers Complete other assigned duties as required Employment type: Full-time Swisher Memorial Healthcare System is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Swisher Memorial Healthcare System
