This position is responsible for providing service at the bar and providing support to the service staff by making service well drinks. At least two years of experience in a similar restaurant and wine knowledge is required. Hourly, plus tips and tip out with benefits available. Work schedule includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Reports to manager on duty.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced bartender to join our team at Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine. As a bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will work closely with other staff members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing legendary service to bar guests according to standard operating procedures
• Having adequate menu knowledge and making guest recommendations
• Prepping, stocking, cleaning, and maintaining bar to a high level of organization and cleanliness
• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers according to established recipes and standards
• Engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences
• Monitoring and managing inventory levels, maintaining accurate records of beverage usage and sales
• Checking identification to verify that guests are of legal drinking age
• Handling cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly
• Enhancing guest experience to encourage repeat visits
• Collaborating with other bar and restaurant staff to maintain a smooth and efficient operation

Supplemental duties may include:

• Answering phones
• Taking To-Go orders in accordance with company standards
• Taking bar tables
• Creating drink recipes

Requirements include:

• At least 2 years experience in a similar full service restaurant
• Wine knowledge
• Following all safety, health, and sanitation regulations and guidelines
• Standing / Walking up to 8 hours continuously
• Lifting up to 50 lbs alone, and up to 80 lbs as a team
