As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, trailer areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, driver, and vehicle activity in accordance with site policies; document observations and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
