Job Description

Entry-level maintenance technicians are responsible for performing routine inspections, executing basic repairs, and supporting preventive maintenance tasks under the guidance of experienced staff. Primary duties include fixing minor plumbing and electrical issues, replacing parts (filters, lightbulbs), painting, and maintaining equipment logs. Candidates must possess basic mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the physical ability to work with tools while adhering to strict safety protocols in facilities or industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities

Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of building systems and machinery to identify potential issues early.
Repairs: Perform minor repairs such as fixing doors, replacing light fixtures, patching drywall, and addressing basic plumbing leaks.
Preventive Care: Execute scheduled tasks like cleaning, lubricating moving parts, and changing filters to extend equipment lifespan.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment downtime.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, utilize personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
