Landscape Architect – High-End ResidentialLos Angeles, CA Up to $100,000+ annually DOEAbout the OpportunityWell established, award-winning residential design studio in Los Angeles to add a Landscape Architect to its growing landscape team.This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to work on highly customized, design-driven residential projects where architecture and landscape are developed together from the beginning. Rather than treating landscape as a separate phase of the project, the team takes a holistic approach to the home, site, outdoor spaces, and surrounding environment.The studio is intentionally small, highly collaborative, and non-hierarchical. Landscape Architects work closely with architects, designers, project leaders, and clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.The team is open to candidates ranging from early-career Landscape Architects through experienced professionals, with responsibilities and project ownership adjusted based on experience.What You'll DoDevelop site plans, master landscape designs, and construction documentation for custom residential projectsParticipate in projects from early design concepts through constructionCollaborate directly with architects and other designers to create cohesive indoor/outdoor environmentsWork within a BIM-based digital design and documentation environmentParticipate in design meetings and contribute ideas regardless of seniorityCoordinate project documentation, design development, and productionParticipate in client meetings and presentationsConduct site visits throughout the project lifecycleManage multiple projects based on experience levelSenior-level candidates may serve as the primary client contact and lead projects with support from junior team membersWhat We're Looking For3+ years of professional landscape architecture experienceExperience working on residential projectsHigh-end custom residential, luxury estate, or hospitality experience is strongly preferredDegree in Landscape Architecture preferredStrong understanding of design documentation and project productionComfortable working in a BIM-based environmentAbility to collaborate digitally and manage project files effectivelyStrong communication and organizational skillsCurious, collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely across architecture and landscape disciplinesExperience with Revit or Archicad is helpful. Candidates coming from Revit or another BIM platform will be considered, and training is available.Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) licensure is a plus but is not required.
