About the Role:
Abrasive Water Jet of Indiana LLC is looking for a skilled Waterjet Operator to join our team in Noblesville, IN. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with cutting-edge waterjet cutting technology in a fast-paced, precision-focused manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor abrasive waterjet cutting machines to produce precision-cut parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to ensure accurate cuts
- Program CNC waterjet equipment and make adjustments to cutting parameters as needed
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy and quality standards
- Perform routine machine maintenance, including nozzle changes and abrasive media management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and deadlines
Requirements:
- Prior experience operating waterjet, CNC, or other precision cutting equipment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications
- Familiarity with CNC programming and machine setup processes
- Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and squares
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with good communication skills
