Manufacturing Machine Operator - Multiple Shifts Available

Location: Winona, MN
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire


Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable Machine Operators with at least 1 year of machining experience. In this role, you'll set up, run, and monitor production equipment while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to learn new equipment and grow your skills.


Shift Options & Pay

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:00pm-10:30pm, Friday 10:00am-6:30pm - $20.70/hr
• 3rd Shift: Monday-Thursday 8:00pm-6:30am - $19.80/hr
• 4th Shift: Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:30pm - $19.44/hr

What You'll Do

• Set up, operate, and tear down production equipment
• Monitormachine operations during production runs
• Perform basic quality inspections using measuring tools
• Complete changeovers as needed for different product runs
• Report defective materials or equipment issues to supervisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing instructions
• Work from production schedules with minimal supervision

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of experience in machining preferred
• Experience with lathes, mills, or similar equipment
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
• Ability to read and follow written instructions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to learn to operate multiple machines at once
• Basic computer skills
• Team-oriented with good communication skills

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly
• Frequent bending, reaching, walking, and manual dexterity
• Hands-on work with machinery in an active manufacturing setting
