Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/03/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Requirements Active RN License Degree from an accredited nursing program BLS Certification At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting Additional client facility requirements may apply Duties & Responsibilities Med‑Surg nurses (RN) provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures and manage medical illnesses with pharmaceutical treatments. They must handle a broad range of medical conditions. Complete assignments made by physicians. Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care. Assess changes in patient’s health status and perform various treatments. Administer medication. Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members.
