At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities, so if this sounds like you then please read on!Job DescriptionThis role will involve:Interacting with guests in a natural, friendly demeanorCultivating regular guests and repeat businessSuccessfully completing a pour test prior to every shift, where applicableSuggestively selling both beverages and menu items to guests at the barDelivering beverage orders promptlyPrioritizing and organizing drink ordersConsistently preparing beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications, abiding by all control systemsRecording any equipment failure and/or safety hazards in bar logRecognizing when guests are becoming too intoxicated and refusing further service of alcohol in a courteous and safety-minded manner, bringing it to the attention of a managerEnsuring responsible alcohol service per local ordinance alcohol awareness training and HOB alcohol policiesRequesting proper identification for anyone appearing under 30 years of ageMaintaining HOB safety and sanitation standardsPerforming opening/running/closing duties according to HOB policyPreparing guest checks (on point of sales terminal) and processing payment according to Live Nation policyMaintaining bartender bankPerforming pull / check out proceduresMaintaining appropriate Comp and Spill checksRequired to occasionally work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venueQualificationsRequired:Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or EquivalentAbility to work late hoursFlexible scheduleCash handling experienceMust be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniquesSkill in interpersonal communication and teamworkPhysically able to pass a pour test and a mixology drill (timed)Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded mannerTolerance of all cultures, music and art formsPreferred:4 years work experience in high volume environmentExperience recognizing valid ID'sExperience in a live music environmentPhysical Demands/Working EnvironmentWorking environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressfulPosition requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feetMust be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniquesEqual Employment OpportunityWe are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
