- TBD during the interview
- Prepare treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and dental materials for procedures.
- Assist dentists during treatment by passing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining the sterile field.
- Perform dental X-rays and assist with study casts and temporary restorations.
- Sterilize instruments and follow infection-control and safety protocols.
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative instructions to patients.
- Assist with dental and medical emergencies; maintain CPR/BLS readiness and emergency supplies.
- Document dental services accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Maintain required certifications, including GA Dental Assistant license/certification, X-ray license, CPR/BLS, Nitrous Oxide, and Coronal Polishing.
- Current, valid, and unrestricted GA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
- Minimum 1 year Dental Assistant experience
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or required X-ray training.
- CPR card.
- Nitrous oxide certification; Coronal polishing certification.
- Possession of a valid X-ray license is required.
- Active BLS
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents.
