QA Technician- DAY SHIFT

Schedule : Wednesday–Saturday | 4:00 AM–4:00 PM

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician I to join our manufacturing team. This position works closely with Production to inspect products, perform measurements and testing, identify quality concerns, and ensure products meet established specifications.

What You'll Do

• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections of cans, components, and packaging products.
• Measure and test manufactured products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Identify defects and communicate quality concerns to Production and plant leadership.
• Perform dimensional studies and document results.
• Perform calibrations of measuring and testing equipment.
• Maintain accurate quality inspection and testing records.
• Assist with quality, GMP, and process audits.
• Review quality records and help identify recurring quality issues.
• Assist with employee training related to quality procedures, GMPs, and measurement techniques.
• Prepare Certificates of Conformance and maintain required documentation.
• Support Production with troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
• What We're Looking For
• Previous experience with measuring or testing is required.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, scales, optical measurement equipment, or similar inspection/testing tools is preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience is strongly preferred.
• Good basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately read measurements and compare results against specifications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate quality concerns when identified.
• Ability to work a 12-hour day shift.
