Are you looking for an opportunity to practice laboratory medicine in one of the most unique and beautiful locations in the United States? We are seeking a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician to join a small rural hospital serving a close-knit island community in Hawaii.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Perform laboratory testing in accordance with established policies and procedures
\n
• Analyze and report patient results accurately and efficiently
\n
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
\n
• Perform quality control and quality assurance activities
\n
• Assist with specimen collection and processing as needed
\n
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
\n
• Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, and regulatory standards
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
\n
• MT/MLS or MLT certification preferred (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent)
\n
• Current Hawaii Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Technician license required
\n
• Previous generalist laboratory experience preferred
\n
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
\n
• Ability to work independently in a small laboratory environment
\n
