Artech provides technical expertise to fill gaps in clients' immediate skill-sets availability, deliver emerging technology skill-sets, refresh existing skill base, allow for flexibility in project planning and execution phases, and provide budgeting/financial flexibility by offering contingent labor as a variable cost.Job Description• Techniques: Quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) with dissipation, FTIR, UV, coursework in analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, and statistics• The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers involved in assessing cleaning protocols for consumer and pharmaceutical products. • The candidate will use QCM with dissipation to study residues on manufacturing surfaces. • Prior knowledge of QCM is not required but considered a plus. • The candidate will conduct DOE design experiments using the QCM and conduct supporting experiments with spectroscopy techniques such as FTIR or UV-visible spectrometry. • The position also involves wet lab techniques (preparing solutions); spin coating films onto metallic substrates, and chemical cleaning of substrates. • Familiarity with basic light microscopy also considered a plus.
