TITLE Research Engineer I POSITION OBJECTIVE Position Acts as a liaison between Intellectual Property lawyers and R&D and Technical at Inteplast. Objective is to develop and protect intellectual properties. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's or master's in engineering: Material Science, Mechanical, or Polymer a plus Engineering studies and research Excellent verbal/written skills Experience in Microsoft Office Suite Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Identify potential patent or trademark opportunities Manage and maintain Inteplast's IP portfolio Advise on IP issues Advise on technical issues from production to end product Maintain certification and compliance in regard to oversight entities Other duties as assigned by supervisor OTHER INFORMATION Hybrid work schedule Inteplast Group is an affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
