Senior Staff Accountant

Senior Staff Accountant
Responsibilities of this hybrid Sr Staff Accountant include:
- Manage fixed asset tracking and produce supporting schedules and reports
- Review and validate financial information through detailed spreadsheet analyses
- Complete account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts
- Prepare and record journal entries to support the monthly close process
- Upload and maintain monthly financial data within the company's consolidation platform
- Generate intercompany billing and oversee related collections activity
- Ensure accuracy of payables by performing 3-way match
- Process expense reimbursements
- Facilitate check runs and wire transfers
- Maintain accurate and well-organized financial documentation
- Provide external audits assistance
- Help prepare annual budgets and forecasting
- Tax filings, including recurring sales/use tax and annual property tax reports
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of experience in accounting preferably within biotech or life science industries
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft 365 applications, with an emphasis on Excel, as well as experience using JD Edwards
- Accurate and attentive to detail
- Organized and effective time management skills
- Capable of working autonomously while consistently meeting deadlines
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-oriented skills
