An established fire protection and life safety organization with multiple offices across the United States is currently looking to hire a Tier 2 Help Desk Technician. This is an on-site contract-to-hire position in the Phoenix, Arizona area supporting a Windows and VMware-based infrastructure environment. The role will focus on day-to-day systems administration, end-user support, account management, and infrastructure maintenance across a 350-user organization. The Tier 2 Help Desk Technician will work closely with a hands-on IT leadership team supporting Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, SCCM, VPN connectivity, hardware deployments, and desktop support operations. Responsibilities include onboarding and offboarding users, troubleshooting system and network issues, maintaining endpoint environments, and providing support for both local and remote employees. Contract Duration: 6 months Required Skills & Experience Experience administering Active Directory, preferably including Azure Active Directory Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Experience working with Microsoft SCCM Experience troubleshooting and supporting firewall environments Windows administration experience Experience supporting VPN connectivity issues Desktop support and end-user troubleshooting experience Experience imaging and configuring Windows devices Knowledge of Exchange and hybrid Microsoft 365 environments Desired Skills & Experience VMware administration experience Experience with SonicWall VPN solutions Experience supporting CrowdStrike endpoint security Knowledge of Sophos BitLocker Encryption Experience with ticketing and asset management systems Experience supporting Autodesk products, Adobe Acrobat, or Bluebeam What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown 40% Microsoft Infrastructure (Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365) 25% Desktop Support & Endpoint Management 20% Network, VPN & Firewall Support 15% Systems Administration & VMware Operations Daily Responsibilities 50% User Support and Ticket Resolution 20% New Hire Provisioning and Equipment Configuration 15% User Offboarding and Access Management 15% Hardware, Inventory and Systems Maintenance #J-18808-Ljbffr Motion Recruitment
