Overview Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Orthopaedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction to join our 3 established Adult Reconstruction Surgeons in our Division of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. Opportunity Details Join an established total joint practice with 3 BC, fellowship-trained Adult Reconstruction surgeons and 3 Advanced Practice Providers Our collegial Orthopaedic Division is comprised of 3 fellowship trained Ortho Trauma surgeons, 4 fellowship-trained Hand Surgeons, 3 fellowship trained Orthopaedic Sports Medicine surgeons, a general Orthopaedic Surgeon, 3 Primary Care Sports Physicians, and 5 surgical and office-based Podiatrists Dedicated clinic time at a large modern 52,000 square foot Orthopaedic/Sports Medicine building in Champaign with on-site PT/OT and well as potential for dedicated clinic time at Carle At The Riverfront campus in Danville, IL Block surgical opportunities at newly built 23,000 square foot Champaign Ambulatory Surgery Center as well as Carle Foundation Hospital and new Carle At The Riverfront campus / Surgery Center in Danville Shared call supported by the Orthopaedic Trauma Service which has daily 0730 block time Opportunity for academic and research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the world's first engineering-based medical school created in partnership with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Potential Opportunity to develop a robotic surgery program and regional outreach Carle Foundation Hospital is a 509-bed Level I Trauma Center and is the largest regional hospital in East Central Illinois Champaign-Urbana is a vibrant college town with a population of ~195,000 residents and is home to the Big Ten University of Illinois Candidates must have completed an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency program and an Adult Reconstruction fellowship About Our Community Globally connected, innovative and culturally rich, Champaign-Urbana is centrally located to Chicago, Indianapolis and St.Louis and is home to one of the world's great public research universities - the Big Ten University of Illinois. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $700,000 - $725,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
