Job Description As a Security Officer Front Desk in Columbia, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will manage access control and badge activities, monitor alarm panels, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees at a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records. Monitor access points, lobby activity, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols. Maintain clear communication with building management, tenants, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership, and complete required reports and daily activity logs. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
