Job Details Location: Alameda, 10782 East Alameda Avenue, Aurora, CO 80012 Education Level: Master’s Degree Salary Range: $58,480.92 – $118,627.08 per year Category: Clinical Schedule Full‑time, onsite at the Arapahoe County Detention Facility. Wednesday through Saturday, 8:00a.m. – 6:30p.m. Salary Based on full‑time equivalency (1.0 FTE) and adjusted for experience, licensure, and equity. Unlicensed Therapist: $58,489.60 – $80,017.60 per year Licensed Therapist: $66,512.16 – $91,016.64 per year Unlicensed Psychologist: $70,010 – $83,473.46 per year Licensed Psychologist: $99,493.68 – $118,627.08 per year Bilingual Language Differential Pay is available. Rate depends on language requirements and fluency. Additional Perks Quality supervision for clinical hours toward licensure at no cost to the employee Loan forgiveness Continuing learning benefit; online database of clinical trainings and DEI trainings; reimbursement for conferences Billing and administrative support provided by the team Essential Duties Facilitate recovery and optimal quality of life by providing clinical services, case management, and education Collaborate with clients to create and implementation a consistent treatment plan from intake to closure Conduct diagnostic assessments and deliver individual, family, and/or group therapy Develop and monitor treatment plans; update at required intervals Consult with internal and external professionals and collaterals to ensure access to needed services and proactive coordination of care Provide case‑management services and crisis intervention as needed Offer comprehensive clinical services to decrease symptoms and improve quality of life Assist clients in evaluating strengths and symptoms, setting goals, and teaching coping skills Provide consultation to community partners and providers Maintain up‑to‑date billing information; seek insurance authorization when required Write reports, correspondence, and appropriate releases Ensure timely credentialing with third‑party payers Coordinate care with the client’s care team Qualifications Requirements Unlicensed Therapist or Psychologist Master’s or Doctoral degree in professional counseling from an APA, CACREP, or CSWE accredited program Obtain a mental‑health Candidate Permit (e.g., LPCC, PSYC, MFTC, SWC/LSW) within 30 days of hire; pursue independent clinical license (LPC, LP, LMFT, LCSW) with no‑cost supervision Preferred: ≥1 year of clinical experience with the target client population (diagnosis, intake assessment, therapy) Licensed Therapist or Psychologist ≥2 years of clinical experience (individual, family, group therapy) Professional licensure: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Licensed Psychologist (PhD, PSYD), or equivalent in another state with intent to transfer If holding an out‑of‑state license, obtain Colorado licensure within 30 days of hire Knowledge of theories and evidence‑based practices related to clinical treatment Proficiency in electronic health records Solid understanding of mental illness and multidisciplinary treatment modalities Knowledge of DSM‑V Ability to respond effectively to crisis situations Capability to document interactions with clients, agencies, and professionals Required Vaccination and TB Test All employees must receive an annual influenza shot and provide a negative TB test before the first day of work.
