Cherry Picker Operator

$18.50/hr

8:00am-4:30pm

Job Summary

The Cherry Picker Operator is responsible for full-time, dedicated order picking using elevated warehouse equipment in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role focuses exclusively on machine-based picking and requires strong attention to accuracy, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a cherry picker to retrieve products from elevated warehouse locations
Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners
Verify item numbers, quantities, and locations to ensure order accuracy
Maintain consistent productivity and picking speed to meet daily goals
Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment at height
Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues
Assist with inventory accuracy through proper scanning and handling
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience required
Experience operating a cherry picker or similar equipment strongly preferred
Comfortable working at heights for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Dependable and punctual with strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

Ability to operate equipment at elevated heights for extended periods
Lift up to 50 lbs
Stand and remain on equipment throughout shift
