This is a highly visible position that requires concentration and effort. A mechanical background is preferred. Manufacturing and extrusion experience is a plus! We provide stable employment, excellent opportunities for advancement and on the job training.
Machine Operator Job Responsibilities:
- Set up, start up and operate machines.
- Inspect finished product coming off the production line for quality.
- Complete daily production and quality inspection reports.
- Perform other duties and assignments as directed by Management.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work as a team member and help other associates.
Machine Operator Skills and Requirements:
- Excellent attendance is a must.
- Mechanically inclined with high attention to detail.
- Ability to read measuring devices such as tape measure, caliper and fit gauges.
- Frequent standing, walking and lifting.
- Ability to work any shift.
