Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Cath Lab team on a travel basis. The ideal candidate will provide specialized cardiovascular nursing care in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures such as LHC, R/LHC, stent placement, peripheral angio, and pacemaker implants.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Meditech EMR system.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout cardiovascular interventions.
• Follow unit-specific policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in moderate sedation and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with Philips cath lab equipment and Meditech EMR.
• Ability to work efficiently within a team and adapt to floating policies.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
