Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a collaborative approach within our outpatient office framework. While the core working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, some scheduling flexibility may be required to meet patient needs effectively. You will have access to various professional resources and support to ensure you can perform your role effectively from your home base.

  • Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments, developing personalized treatment plans that address the unique circumstances and needs of each patient.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to promote comprehensive patient care.

  • Offer crisis intervention services and support during acute mental health emergencies, ensuring a swift and appropriate response to client needs.

  • Educate patients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and local community resources that can assist in their journey toward improved mental well-being.

  • Maintain meticulous adherence to documentation protocols, ensuring all records are kept confidential and comply with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on supporting a diverse client population, including individuals from varied cultural backgrounds, the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrant populations. The emphasis on inclusivity means you will be instrumental in addressing the unique mental health needs of clients who often face barriers to accessing traditional mental health services.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

  • A deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based therapeutic approaches, and cultural competencies necessary for effective therapy.

  • Proven experience delivering individual and group therapy reflecting sensitivity to the diverse cultural contexts of patients.

  • Strong crisis intervention capabilities and the ability to maintain composure during high-pressure situations.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, demonstrating the ability to forge meaningful connections with a wide range of individuals.

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications for efficient record-keeping and patient management.

The salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting the skills and experience of the candidate.
