**Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Oncology**

**Job Description:**

Lead the charge in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care that makes a real difference. You'll be the go-to professional who brings energy and expertise to every patient interaction, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure exceptional outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Master the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to create effective, personalized care plans
• Provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and teaching with confidence and clarity
• Keep the healthcare team in the loop by communicating important patient and family information
• Jump into problem-solving mode to tackle care variances and champion solutions that get implemented
• Demonstrate leadership in coordinating care that reflects our commitment to quality and compassion

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).
