- Reconciles all credit card and cash payments to Meditech daily
- Posts insurance payments electronically and manually
- Posts personal payments to patient accounts
- Posts non -A/R (MISC GL) checks and receipts
- Applies adjustments and discounts after supervisor approval
- Manually posts all other receipts
- Maintain communication with all internal and external customers
- Sorts and distributes mail in mail room

- High School Diploma or GED
- Prefer one year of office experience
- 10-key proficiency
- Strong math skills
EQUIPMENT/TOOLS: Operate office equipment such as computers, printers, copy machine, ten-key calculator, facsimile, multi-line phone system, and scanners. WORKING CONDITIONS: Typical working conditions include sitting at a desk for extended periods of time while working on a computer or talking on the phone. Greeting patients with billing questions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Vision must be correctable to view computer screens and read printed information. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
