About the Role
The Company is seeking a Merchant Services Payments Business Development Manager - Vice President for the EMEA region. The successful candidate will be tasked with the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing payables solutions for a range of clients, including corporate, financial institutions, healthcare, public sector, and multi-national clients. This role demands a deep understanding of the payables industry, a history of managing complex client transactions, and the ability to meet and exceed revenue goals. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional deal teams, preparing and delivering presentations, and supporting the pricing and proposal process. The role also involves identifying client needs, upselling/cross-selling, and maintaining a robust sales pipeline. Applicants must demonstrate significant experience in payment processing and merchant acquisition, a proven track record of successful selling to large, complex organizations in Europe, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives. The role requires strong influencing, selling, negotiation, and partnership skills, both with internal and external stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred, or an extensive successful performance in a similar role. Some travel, both in Europe and the US, is expected. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept at collaboration, and capable of identifying opportunities for product and process improvements in the region.
