Cost Accountant

Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain accounting systems including journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and revenue reconciliation. Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations. Balance books and prepare profit and loss, cash flow, income, and balance sheet statements. Monitor and develop monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects. Provide records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions. Prepare federal, state, and local reports and tax returns (as required). Assist in setting up processes and procedures that capture, track, and report revenue, including deferred revenue, in accordance with the company revenue recognition policy. Generate revenue reports for internal and/or external use. Interpret reports and records for managers and stakeholders. Review, track, and maintain billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations. Qualifications B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Minimum 5 years of related experience. Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email). Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP product is desired. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Benefits Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
