Description - What You'll Be Responsible For

• Evaluate test results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance alongside instrument calibration.
• Support specimen acquisition and process samples for testing when needed.
• Ensure thorough documentation of all lab processes, provide training to new team members or students, and maintain laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold a safe and clean working environment while complying with necessary regulations and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree accompanied by ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within one year of employment.
• Maintain relevant certification for the duration of employment.
