Role Overview We are seeking a Role Overview We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate, knowledgeable, and individualized nursing care in a surgical center specializing in procedures such as colonoscopy, EGD, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and hemorrhoid banding. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care under the supervision of the Center Manager. Monitor and assess patients in the post-operative area, ensuring safety and proper documentation. Transport, position, and provide pre- and post-procedure care, including patient education and discharge instructions. Maintain a clean, safe environment, ensuring equipment functionality and adherence to safety protocols. Follow infection control standards, including CDC precautions and aseptic techniques. Participate in quality improvement and safety programs, and perform clerical duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Current licensure as a Practical Nurse. Proficiency in monitoring equipment, patient assessment, and documentation. Knowledge of infection control, safety procedures, and patient care standards.
