IT Security Specialist

IT Security SpecialistClient is currently looking for a contractor to fill in temporarily for a vacant Information Security position within the Office of Information Management - Information Security Office. Review and create information security documentation, including BIAs and RAs. Document and update templates required by VITA for reporting completed security documentation. Work with the Deputy Information Security Officer to ensure the day to day requirements of the security office are met. Responds to customer inquiries/requests in the security area. Reviews and documents security policies and makes changes/updates as needed. Providing security training on policies, etc when appropriate. Required Experience: Knowledge of Commonwealth of Virginia Information Security Program Knowledge of all Commonwealth Security Policies, Sec 501 Must know to create business impact assessments and risk assessments, how to create security policies, training security policies Excellent customer services skills Information Security Certification
