Manager, Stakeholder Engagements - Caribbean Region

The Manager of Stakeholder Engagements for the Caribbean Region will be responsible for working closely with the Senior Vice President, Government & Destination Affairs relations and will support functions across the team, managing engagements with stakeholders in government, community organizations, industry partners, statutory and non‑statutory bodies and other parties to establish strong working relationships. Essential Functions Development and successful delivery of stakeholder engagement plans in accordance with the overarching stakeholder engagement strategy. Arrange and attend stakeholder meetings and ensure feedback of stakeholder responses and requests are responded to within agreed timelines. Provide briefings and support for meetings with stakeholders. Prepare and manage workshops, roundtable and forum logistics including developing agendas, project plans, minute taking and production of reports. Ensure accurate audit trail maintained of all stakeholder engagements and all contacts/activities are recorded and reported in accordance with company policies and procedures. Prepare and provide input into weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for internal management updates. Identify and pursue opportunities to build direct and effective relationships with key destinations, partners, advocates and community organizations. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Scope: This role supports stakeholder engagement across Caribbean markets, collaborating with shoreside and shipboard teams and managing relationships with governments, communities, and partners. Problem‑solving: Addresses complex stakeholder issues, balances competing priorities, and ensures timely, effective responses using sound judgment and regional awareness. Impact: Strengthens external relationships and company reputation, enabling smooth operations and supporting execution of corporate and destination initiatives. Leadership: N/A For all roles Knowledge: Understanding of workplace policies and procedures / Familiarity with team collaboration tools and techniques. Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills. Abilities: Ability to maintain reliable and consistent attendance / Capacity to be punctual and meet deadlines / Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and work as part of a team / Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions and tasks. Essential/Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Policy or Political Science preferred. Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Including Excel, PowerPoint and Word). Proficiency in Data Visualization Platforms (PowerBI, Tableau or similar). Travel 25‑50% with shipboard travel likely. Work Conditions Work primarily in a climate‑controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Physical Demands Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. This position is classified as “in‑office.” As an in‑office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area. Sick Time – All full‑time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year. Part‑time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
