Project Manager I

Job Overview We are seeking a Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate gas distribution and transmission projects valued between $1-10M. The role involves organizing multidisciplinary teams throughout project lifecycles including creation, budgeting, monitoring, and adjustments as required. Responsibilities Lead multidisciplinary project teams; accountable for planning, coordinating, directing, and controlling gas distribution and transmission construction projects valued at $1-10M. Monitor project progress according to established timelines, recommend budget adjustments when necessary, and meet with contractors weekly. Assist with the development of Gantt charts and brief business unit leadership monthly on progress toward timeline and budget milestones. Monitor project activities to ensure alignment with all State, Federal, and Company safety requirements. Apply technical knowledge and project management skills to address unforeseen issues or concerns with the project and take action to resolve them. Have general understanding of external regulations and requirements. Assist with selection, review of contractor progress. Conduct project meetings to review progress, provide updates, and identify risks. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Project Management. Internship preferred.
