Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – 27 beds Number of Staff – Varies on volume, 1 Charge RN, 2-3 RN's, 2 Techs, clinical coordinator Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 Charge RN, 2-3 RN's, 2 Tech's and clinical coordinator Night Shift – 1 charge RN, 2-3 RN's, 2 Tech's and clinical coordinator Patient Ratios – 3:1 Type of equipment – x-rays, preoperative, anesthesiologist, lab, electrocardiography, EKG EMR - Meditech Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. ACLS, BLS, 2 years current experience in acute OR setting, ortho, spine and joint replacement experience Knee and Hip replacement experience Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. PALS, CNOR any Charge experience RN is responsible for the observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation of care of all patients List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Joint replacement, ENT, Ortho, Spine, Urology Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic Surgery and Plastic Surgery Best personality fit: Dedicated, patient care experience, reliable, proficient charting Critical thinker, passionate, multi-taking, excellent bedside manner
