HVAC Technician (Cambridge)

Be responsible for professionally servicing HVAC equipment and accessory items in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes. Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and correctly instruct customers on proper care and maintenance. Show willingness to learn and grow as part of a progressive, customer‑service‑oriented team. Create a positive relationship with customers; offer other company products and services, and demonstrate strong communication and problem‑solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction. A growth mindset: dependable, ambitious, and eager to grow with Reliance. Completed a minimum of Grade12 or equivalent. Must have a Gas TechnicianII license. Certificate of Qualification (C of Q) as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario – 313D). Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card. At least a ClassG Driver's License. Three to five years of field experience in servicing water heaters and HVAC equipment (asset). Willing and able to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required. Physically capable of performing all required work, including occasional lifting of 15kg, frequent bending, squatting/kneeling, and working inside/outside in all weather conditions. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills. Outstanding customer service skills. Ability to understand and learn new technologies such as electronics and electricity. Very punctual and dependable. Willing to wear a company‑provided uniform.
