Job Opportunity: General Pediatrician

Our organization is currently in search of a Board Eligible/Board Certified General Pediatrician to join the Department of Pediatrics at our Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital – Indio Outpatient Pavilion, in collaboration with the SAC Health System. This state-of-the-art facility houses Loma Linda Pediatric Subspecialists, along with on-site Behavioral Health and Dental services, providing a comprehensive care environment.

We are particularly interested in candidates who are eager to become part of the Coachella Valley community, which boasts a childhood population exceeding 135,000. Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable. We welcome applications from recent graduates!

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality pediatric care in an outpatient setting.
Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in on-call duties, with one day of beeper call per month.

Work Schedule

Clinic hours are as follows:

Monday to Thursday: 8 AM to 5 PM
Friday: 8 AM to 4 PM
On-call: 5 PM to 8 AM (Monday - Friday) or 8 AM to 8 AM (weekends/holidays)

Location Overview

Indio is situated 70 miles east of our main campus and offers easy access to hotels and resorts in Palm Springs, located just 23 miles to the west. Known as the Festival City, Indio is one of the fastest-growing areas in the Coachella Valley and is conveniently located 30 miles from the stunning Joshua Tree National Park.

Compensation & Benefits

The starting base salary for this position ranges from $255,000 to $305,000, depending on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, which are determined by departmental compensation plans. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
