Travel Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Connecticut State PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred. Demonstrated ability to assist with gait training, transfers, and therapeutic exercise preferred.
