Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
Job Type: Food Service / Healthcare
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to support daily food service operations. The ideal candidate will assist with meal preparation, meal delivery, and dining area sanitation while ensuring residents or patients receive meals according to dietary requirements and established standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing, portioning, and serving meals according to established menus and dietary instructions.
- Deliver meals and beverages to residents or patients as assigned.
- Follow special diet orders and meal service guidelines.
- Set up and clean dining areas, trays, utensils, and food service equipment.
- Wash dishes and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
- Store food properly and assist with stocking supplies.
- Work with dietary and kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
Qualifications
- Previous dietary, healthcare, or food service experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is an advantage.
- Ability to follow menus, instructions, and special dietary requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties as required.
