Apex Dental is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our professional team. This role offers a flexible schedule with one guaranteed day per week and the potential for additional days based on interest and availability. The ideal candidate will have experience with Dentrix software, excellent patient communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Pay

$48~$58 per hour

Requirements

• Dentrix
• Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years)
• Licensed dental hygienist
• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
Proficient with Dentrix software
Knowledge of dental scaling and prophylaxis procedures
Experience with dental x-ray technology and radiography techniques
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Patient-focused with the ability to educate and counsel patients effectively
Entry-level candidates welcomed

Job Description

Perform dental prophylaxis and scaling procedures to maintain oral health of patients
Conduct patient assessments and provide dental care counseling to promote proper oral hygiene
Take and evaluate dental x-rays, including bitewing and bisecting angle radiography techniques
Administer local anesthesia as needed (where applicable)
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix practice management software
Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, post-care instructions, and treatment plans
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
Collaborate with the dental team to support quality patient care
