Records Manager

A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced and strategic Records Manager to lead and advance its Records Management and Information Governance operations across multiple offices. What You'll Do: Lead the day-to-day operations of the Records Management and Information Governance function across multiple offices. Manage, coach, and develop a team of Records Management professionals. Develop and implement departmental goals, operating procedures, and strategic initiatives aligned with firm objectives. Oversee the lifecycle management of physical and electronic records, including retention, retrieval, storage, imaging, transfer, preservation, and defensible disposition. Ensure compliance with records retention policies, ethical screening requirements, client obligations, and applicable legal and regulatory standards. Manage client file transfers related to attorney arrivals, departures, and client requests. Oversee records digitization initiatives and maintain data integrity within document and records management systems. What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 10+ years of progressive Records Management or Information Governance experience, including leadership responsibilities. Extensive knowledge of legal records management, information governance principles, and retention requirements. Experience managing records operations within a law firm or professional services environment. Knowledge of AI and automation tools and their practical application in records management and business operations. Strong understanding of electronic records management, imaging, and digital information lifecycle management. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. #J-18808-Ljbffr
