Special Requirements Must possess a valid certificate of registration as an electrical engineer issued by the California Board of Registration for Professional Engineers. Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle. Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If basing eligibility on education, unofficial transcripts must be provided for verification. Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required and must be typed, no more than two pages in length, and 12‑point Arial font. Qualifications Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Senior Transportation Electrical Engineer (Supervisor) exam.
