Job Description
- Assist in structuring, negotiating, and executing private equity transactions.
- Draft and review transaction documents, including purchase agreements and shareholder agreements.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients on private equity matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support complex deals.
- Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessment for private equity investments.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations during transactions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments in the professional services sector.
- Foster strong client relationships by delivering responsive and high-quality legal support.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California Bar or eligibility to be admitted.
- Strong expertise in private equity transactions and corporate law.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
