Nurse Technician Emergency Department

$29.5755/ hr

Union: 1199 FULL-TIME 11 pm to 7 am

Alternating Weekends

Job Description:

Provide basic nursing care to patients appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
Provide general aspects of care that meet psychosocial and/or physical needs.
Assists in admissions, transfers, and discharge of patients.
Demonstrated ability to perform phlebotomy and EKG

Requirements/Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalency Required
Minimum of 1 year job-related experience.
Completion of Phlebotomy and EKG Training Program.
Completion of Nurse Technician Program
Legible handwriting
Good communication skills (written, verbal and telephone)
BLS required

Qualifications

Education

Required High School Diploma/Equiv or better.

Licenses & Certifications

Required BLS CERT AMERICAN HEART
